Instruments

Just in case you are as interested in instruments as much as the songs, I play Simon ad Patrick guitars, an Oakwood mandola and a David Oddie handmade large scale ctave mandola.

My first ‘proper’ guitar was bought second hnd by a friend as a present when I was 20 and i still have it – a Nippon Gaki Red Label Yamaha. althought he first guitar i learned on was a three stringed cheapo classical number that took me six months or so to afford the bottom three strings, hence what some people have descibed as my ‘interesting’ fingering style
